Strangled
This painting tries to create a picture of what it feels like to get strangled. It is not necessarily about being choked to death, but about the problems in life that make us feel like we are getting strangled. This is an emotional feeling and not a physical one. The black lines can be compared to human veins and arteries that are turning black because of lack of blood circulation. The rest of the faded colors add a sad and deadly feeling to the dark and gloomy scene.

Lost in Cahoots
It really isn't that hard to get lost. It's just as easy as visiting a new place. However, there are other ways to get lost without visiting new places. Revenge is something that makes us turn to dark places and plan on hurting others.
In this abstract artwork we see two obvious figures which are people. They are not smiling and one of them even seems to have tears running down his cheek. Their eyes are dark and shady and they are supporting each other in their mischief. The meaning of this painting is that revenge ends up hurting the all who seek it.
Placebo
Life is full problems we create in our mind. We think we need to solve these problems that don't even really exist. Maybe you feel too short or too tall or think you have a multitude of other defects, but in reality these kinds of problems are pointless. This painting is like a placebo. It aims to heal a pain that only really exists in your imagination, but the painting doesn't really do anything.

Universe of Thoughts
Our minds are very powerful and creative. They allow us to make calculations, send messages throughout our body, store information and even feel emotions. This abstract painting tries to concieve the human consciousness. It contains many rectangular shapes resembling different abilities of our mind and a center that points out to our deepest being. Perhaps the faded white can be considered to be our thoughts that expand a little beyond our own self, but can never achieve an entire understanding of our surroundings. The brown edges are obscurity and simply the unknown and the dark brown shapes are what we choose to ignore.

Consumerism Prolix
Life is full of things. A multitude of objects are available. We can buy almost anything we want and we don't have to wait for it. This abstract painting focuses on the greed of people and how sometimes we are more concerned about obtaining more things than about enjoying what we have.
At first sight, we just see many squares and rectangular shapes. However, they can be thought of as things stacked on top of each other. All these objects are not really needed and therefore are being stored possibly forever.

Canoodle
This abstract painting shows very contrasting shapes that seem to embrace each other. The dark shapes stretch out to touch and feel as much as they can. These express a passion for life and the people we love. The color choice is somewhat dull in order to achieve a greater contrast with the dark brown, brownish orange and black.

Symbols of Ancient Wisdom
Inspired by Egyptian hieroglyphics and ancient cave paintings I painted this abstract work. It contains small patterns and symbols as if from another age. Time has buried all kinds of unknown mysteries and without any remorse forgotten entire cultures and languages. Therefore, this painting is about some forgotten culture that has disappeared keeping their knowledge and their wisdom.
Life Parade
Sometimes life feels like we are in a parade marching down a path called life. No matter how rebellious we become or how much we struggle against it, the parade of life continues. Whether we like it or not we find ourselfs captives of time, rules and laws of nature. The good news is that we are not alone. Every other person is marching along the parade with us.

The Last Sunset
Whether we like it or not, humanity is destroying the world we live in. Materialism and consumerism continually suck out the life and resources out of the Earth. Somehow it has become more important to own the latest gadgets and toys than to truly be free and happy.
The Last Sunset is a painting of the end of humanity. This abstract representation of the end of times shows a sky faded with pollution and dust, a horizon full of dirt where nothing can grow anymore, and an emptiness created by man that is dark and colorless.
Broken - Series
Broken is a series of simplistic paintings that captures the suffering and brokenness of life's hardest moments. These were painted in hard times and try to express the sorrow I felt. However, they also represent hope and recognition of God.
Pass of Time
Time is a concept that seems easy to understand, but can really be somewhat troubling. In a 120 years it is likely that not one single person alive today will still be here. We have limited time and often we waste it.
The painting tries to express the concern for time wasted. The circles and spirals can be considered as eyes that watch every wasted moment. With the grayish-blue and light color choice I tried to deliver the seriousness or perhaps sadness felt when regret finally appears.
Strings of Flags
We live in a very multicultural world. This work of art is inspired by one of the liveliest cities in world where people from all over the world gather to share experiences, thoughts and beliefs. Madrid, Spain is the city where I live and where I have learned to appreciate the unity of people.
Although none of the shapes intentionally resemble flags from different countries, they do resemble people of different countries, cultures, ethnic groups and ideologies. People that no matter how different they are from each other can still be tied together just like strings.

Squares of Stability
With this abstract art painting I tried to achieve an unperfected balance both in the color choice and in the placement of the square shapes. Even while red and blue can show such a significant contrast, some minor shading created some pleasing effects of dark brown and even some dark purple. The shapes gather around the sides leaving the center clear like an opening or door. This emptiness in the center was intended for balance, but also for to attracting the viewer to the simple square patterns and fading colors.
The order in this painting is by no means perfect. It was intended as an expression of balance and freedom.
As always, my goal is to please anyone who might appreciate my art. Please feel free to give any feedback on how this abstract painting makes you feel. I hope you found this painting interesting!
Joy in a Boat
Sometimes in life we are just very happy. With some very bright colors and generous strokes I tried to captivate my joy during some of the happiest days in my life. I am quite fond of this abstract painting because it exposes one my deepest and strongest feelings.
